Teenagers ditch books for mobile games
Recent research by PopCap.com revealed that mobile gaming is stealing time from traditional books, newspapers and magazines with over a quarter of commuters aged 16-24 playing games on a mobile device to pass the time on journeys, compared to just 11% ten years ago. Bright Future for Tipperary Institite
The news coming from Tipperary Institute is all good as applications flood in for the 2010/11 academic year commencing in September. A record number of new students enrolled for third level studies at Tipperary Institute in 2009, and 2010 is shaping up to be even better. The latest CAO data show another spectacular increase in the number of applications for TI programmes. The main highlight is a 10% increase in the overall number of applications for TI compared with the same time last year. more....
