Tipperary Institute fulfils a key role particularly in promoting the sustainable economic and social development of its regional economy through the provision of academic and outreach services.


The academic programmes provided by the Business Department are designed to allow the maximum participation of both school leavers and the business community. The Department has structured its academic programmes to enable both suitable enrolment levels and qualifications at discreet stages over the student’s academic journey with Tipperary Institute.


It provides programmes, both part-time and full –time, and at NQAI Level(s) 6, 7, and 8.
 The Business Department is committed to meeting the needs of the business community. It tailors existing educational and training programmes to meet the specific needs of industry sectors, employers, or individual clients – either in the public or private sectors.
