“The connection between the body and the earth seem to speak out from
these paintings. There is a cross current of stress, not in the negative sense of overwrought, but in the positive sense of a force through which transformation can occur. The kind of stress which holds you up and allows you to grow”'. Professor Micheal O' Suilleabhain, Director, Irish World Music Centre, UL commenting on the work of Catriona O’Connor.

Resident in Holycross, Regina studied Graphic Design in Limerick. She
is currently working as Art Teacher at Colaiste Mhuire Co Ed. in Thurles and has been involved in organising and participating in
various exhibitions.
Regina places a strong emphasis on the figure. Her principle concern
is portraying both subtle and strong human emotion expressed in heavy
textures and vivid colours. Her artwork is a record of real
sensations, feelings and experiences. However, she seeks to awake and incite an emotional response in the spectator in order to touch our profound sensibilities.
All paintings and images are for sale. All are welcome.
