Careers Support Service

The Careers Support Service at Tipperary Institute provides current students and graduates with up-to-date information and resources to assist in the career planning process. The service aims to empower students to enhance their self-awareness, explore employment and study opportunities, make well-informed decisions and implement their customised career action plans. Students receive comprehensive advice on how to develop and implement effective career strategies to succeed in applications for employment, graduate placement and/or further study.

The service arranges individual and group appointments for students at all stages of their study and publishes regular careers newsletters. Employment and graduate placement opportunities are notified to students by email and via the Careers Notice Boards. The Careers Support Service advises on all aspects of the job seeking process, from compiling and refining a CV and covering letter, to preparing for an interview or taking a psychometric test.
